HSC and Equivalent Exam Results 2025 to Be Published Today (October 16)

 The results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published today, Thursday (October 16). According to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the results will be available from 10:00 a.m. on the websites of all education boards, respective examination centers, educational institutions, and through SMS.

This year, 1,251,111 students appeared for the HSC and equivalent exams under 11 education boards across the country.

How to Check HSC Results 2025

According to the official announcement, students can access their results in three ways:

  1. From the Board Websites
    Students or institutions can download the result sheets by visiting the “Result” corner of their respective education board websites and entering their institution’s EIIN number. All education board websites have a “Result” section for this purpose.

  2. Through Educational Institutions
    Students can collect their results from their respective institutions via the integrated web portal or their board’s official website.

  3. Via SMS
    Results can also be obtained by sending an SMS to 16222 after the results are published.
    Type the following message:
    HSC <space> BoardName (First 3 letters) <space> Roll <space> Year
    Example: HSC Dha 123456 2025 and send it to 16222.

The education board notice also mentioned that results will not be available at the Education Ministry or newspaper offices.


HSC Examination 2025 Overview

The HSC and equivalent exams began on June 26, 2025, and the written tests concluded on August 19. The practical exams were held from August 21 to August 31 under 11 education boards.


HSC Result Re-evaluation Process

Students wishing to recheck their results must follow the nine official rules announced by the Dhaka Education Board. The application period for re-evaluation will be from October 17 to October 23, 2025.

The 9 Rules for HSC Result Re-evaluation 2025

  1. Visit the designated website and enter your roll number, registration number, and education board from the drop-down menu. Then click the Submit button.

  2. Provide your mobile number to receive SMS notifications when your rechecked results are available.

  3. The next screen will show your subject-wise grades. Select one or more subjects for re-evaluation and click Pay Fee.

  4. A fee of 150 BDT per paper must be paid. For double papers (like Bangla 1st and 2nd Paper), both must be applied together.

  5. The payable amount will be shown on the next screen. Payments can be made through bKash, Nagad, Sonali e-Seva, DBBL Rocket, or Teletalk SIMs.

  6. After payment, return to the portal and click Submit to complete your application.

  7. If you wish to add more subjects later, you can do so using the same portal without re-entering your phone number.

  8. Before payment, you can delete or modify subjects using the Delete button, but once the fee is paid, applications cannot be canceled and fees are non-refundable.

  9. Manual applications will not be accepted for re-evaluation this year.
