Coronavirus - Be Aware To Protect Yourself - করোনা ভাইরাস - সতর্ক থাকুন

The Corona virus was first identified in Wuhan, China's Hubei Province, in mid-December last year. In just over a month and a half, the deadly virus has spread to at least five countries around the world, apart from China. So far, more than 4 people have died from the coronary virus in China. Six thousand more people are affected.

Scientists have not yet been able to create a deadly antidote to the virus. International media, however, have reported that several people are recovering through treatment.

Who's Dr. Ryan said a team of experts has been assembled to send them to China. There they will work on how the virus is spreading.

We are in a critical juncture about the virus. I believe there is still much to be done about the virus, Ryan said.

Meanwhile, scientists in Australia have claimed that the virus was able to reproduce the first virus outside China. As a result, hope is shown to prevent the virus from being tested.

Hu's Director-General Tedros Adanam Gibrias, who recently visited China, said most people with the Corona virus had 'little symptoms'. But 20% of the cases are severe. They suffer from respiratory complications, including pneumonia.

During this time, he expressed concern about the spread of the virus to humans, Germany, Vietnam and Japan

 গত বছরের ডিসেম্বরের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে চীনের হুবেই প্রদেশের উহান শহরে প্রথম শনাক্ত হয় করোনা ভাইরাসের। মাত্র দেড় মাসের ব্যবধানে প্রাণঘাতী ভাইরাসটি চীনের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল ছাড়াও বিশ্বের অন্তত ১৬টি দেশে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। এখন পর্যন্ত চীনে করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে ১৩০ জনের বেশি মানুষের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। আক্রান্ত রয়েছেন আরো ছয় হাজার মানুষ।

 প্রাণঘাতী এ ভাইরাসের কোনো প্রতিষেধক তৈরি করা এখনও সম্ভব হয়নি বিজ্ঞানীদের পক্ষে। যদিও চিকিৎসার মাধ্যমে বেশ কয়েকজনের সুস্থ হওয়ার কথা জানিয়েছে আন্তর্জাতিক সংবাদমাধ্যমগুলো।

হু’র ড. রায়ান বলেন, চীনে পাঠানোর জন্য বিশেষজ্ঞদের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত একটি দল একত্রিত করা হয়েছে। সেখানে গিয়ে তারা ভাইরাসটি কীভাবে বিস্তার লাভ করছে সে বিষয়ে কাজ করবেন।

আমরা ভাইরাসটির বিষয়ে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সন্ধিক্ষণে রয়েছি। বিশ্বাস করি, ভাইরাসটির ছড়িয়ে পড়ার বিষয়ে এখনও অনেক কিছু করার রয়েছে, বলেন রায়ান।

এদিকে অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বিজ্ঞানীরা চীনের বাইরে এই প্রথম ভাইরাসটি পুনরায় তৈরি করতে সক্ষম হয়েছেন বলে দাবি করেছেন। যার ফলে পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে ভাইরাসটি প্রতিরোধে আশার আলো দেখা যাচ্ছে।

সম্প্রতি চীন সফরে যাওয়া হু’র মহাপরিচালক টেডরস আদানম গিব্রিয়াস জানিয়েছেন, করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত অধিকাংশেরই ‘সামান্য লক্ষণ’ রয়েছে। কিন্তু ২০ শতাংশের অবস্থা মারাত্মক। তারা নিউমোনিয়াসহ শ্বাসযন্ত্রের জটিলতায় ভুগছেন।

এসময় তিনি মানুষের মাধ্যমে জার্মানি, ভিয়েতনাম এবং জাপানে ভাইরাসটি ছড়িয়ে পড়ার বিষয়ে উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেন।

The Science Wars: a way out

When the May 1996 issue of the journal Social Text appeared, an issue devoted to the understanding of ‘‘Science Wars,’’ the editors became targets in these ‘‘wars’’ in ways they had not imagined. The issue included a bogus article by New York University mathematical physicist Alan Skoal, who feigned an earnest resection on the political and philosophical implications of recent physics research for cultural studies. Asoka re-leaved the hoax himself, and it immediately became a hotly debated issue in academic and popular media around the world. The appearance of the article was not only taken as a sign of shoddy scholarship by the Social Text editors but as an expose´ of cultural studies and social science in general. For instance, Nobel prize-winning physicist Steven Weinberg used the hoax to identify what he calls a fundamental ‘‘opposition’’ between natural and social scientists, especially regarding what Weinberg sees as dangerous anti-rationalism and relativism in social science and cultural studies.

.For practice, our preferred approach is for students to solve problems on Leetcode

. These tend to be interesting problems with decent accompanying solutions and discussions

. They also help you test progress against questions that are commonly used in technical interviews at the more competitive software companies

. We suggest solving around 100 random leetcode problems as part of your studies.
